TC - MEP Services

Description

The role is accountable for the delivery of MEP services on projects to agreed outcomes for time, budget, safety and quality. It provides high‑quality, time‑efficient and profitable delivery while ensuring compliance, governance and assurance, and involves managing technical and construction teams and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage MEP package(s) on projects, ensuring compliance with Mace standards.
• Deliver MEP service packages, overseeing programme, health, safety, wellbeing, quality and commissioning.
• Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders, building strong relationships with client, consultants, trade contractors and team leaders.
• Procure specialist packages and appointments within the agreed scope and budget.
• Manage budgets, value engineering, schedules and trade contracts; support commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deploy project strategic plans aligned with operating framework and priorities such as prefabrication, commissioning and safety.
• Support design reviews, checking compliance, coordination, completeness, embodied carbon and operational energy per RIBA and BSRIA frameworks.
• Coordinate delivery strategies and programmes, ensuring milestones, interfaces, dependencies, logistics and work sequencing are considered.
• Implement commissioning strategies per Mace standards, including IST approach, ATPs and soft landings.
• Conduct productivity assessments using digital technologies to monitor schedule, identify trends, issues and critical path.
• Support project close‑out, delivering commissioning, as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and client training to high standards.
• Proactively identify risks and produce mitigation plans.
• Review issues to drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned.
• Manage a team of professionals, delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.
• Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition, identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions.
