The Lead QA Engineer will join the construction technology team as a remote contributor, guiding agile, high‑performing squads that deliver quality for desktop applications and SaaS platforms. Responsibilities include hands‑on testing of modern reactive web platforms, micro‑services in the cloud, and automation of end‑to‑end scenarios for both single‑page and multi‑page applications.
In this role you will lead a nimble QA group, champion best‑practice automation, translate high‑level workflows into concrete technical use cases, forecast timelines, and remove obstacles that threaten delivery. You will also critically evaluate designs and frameworks to improve speed and quality while balancing cost, scale, and agility.
Ideal candidates are lifelong learners with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and at least seven years of automation experience. They bring deep knowledge of C#, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL, cloud technologies, OAuth 2.0, and modern testing tools, and have a proven track record building automated pipelines for APIs, desktop plugins, UI frameworks and mobile apps.
