The role is a Project Manager responsible for the financial and operational performance of regional utility projects, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and strategic goals. Responsibilities include overseeing budgets, expenditures, compliance, client relationships, and guiding a high‑performing team while working closely with senior leadership to resolve issues and support long‑term planning.
Key duties involve leading telecom projects from initiation to completion, coordinating internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders, monitoring progress and risks, and facilitating effective communication. The manager will provide direction to vendors, subcontractors, designers, and engineers, ensure financial performance meets business targets, report status to the Senior Manager, develop staff succession plans, and uphold corporate policies.
The successful candidate brings at least five years of project coordination or management experience in the utility or telecom sector, supported by engineering or construction project‑management education. They possess strong knowledge of engineering standards, regulatory compliance, and major ISPs, can lead cross‑functional teams, manage multiple projects end‑to‑end, and have proven financial forecasting and reporting abilities. Technical proficiency includes MS Excel, Word, and MS Project, and the role requires travel across the GTA.
Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, based on factors such as location, education, experience, and skills.
