The Compliance organization helps Epic do the right thing by identifying, monitoring, and reporting potential risks, supporting the company’s goal of building trust in its products and services.
The Lead, Compliance Assurance is tasked with designing and overseeing testing programs that ensure Epic’s adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Design program to test and monitor compliance as legally required and as needed to identify compliance risk.
- Design and implement testing methodologies and recommend adjustments to the compliance program.
- Lead annual and periodic risk‑based control testing across compliance domains.
- Develop documentation requests and facilitate walkthrough discussions/interviews with control owners and operators.
- Document and confirm testing results with key stakeholders.
- Lead periodic reporting to executive leadership on testing and monitoring results.
- Provide guidance on issue remediation plans.

Epic seeks a candidate with extensive compliance or audit experience, strong stakeholder partnership across legal, finance, product, and engineering, and a track record of building and executing assurance plans while identifying and mitigating process gaps.
- Minimum 8 years of compliance or auditing experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Proven partnership with legal, finance, people, product, and engineering stakeholders.
- Experience building and executing assurance plans from the ground up.
- Ability to proactively identify and mitigate process gaps, bottlenecks, and compliance risks.
- Strong program/project management skills, including multi‑project strategy and metric definition.
- Experience navigating matrix organizations and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication skills in a global, diverse environment.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in complex, dynamic settings and tackle big challenges.
