The National Energy Storage Electrical Leader manages the Energy Storage Electrical Team within the Renewables Division, focusing on efficient service operations, strategy formulation and deployment, service offering enhancement, and leadership development. They are accountable for team performance and collaborate with market and division leadership to align with organizational objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
In this role the leader handles the team's technical, operational, legal and financial matters, sets strategic objectives, and drives innovation and growth. They provide a clear vision for career advancement, allocate resources, balance workloads across offices, monitor utilization and key performance indicators, manage professional licenses, and oversee hiring, promotions, and compensation while developing policies and procedures to support programs and projects.
The leader mentors professionals across multiple locations, promotes teamwork and leadership principles, and implements development and mentorship plans to build technical, management, and leadership capabilities. They identify training programs, assess team effectiveness, and cultivate emerging leaders.
The leader sets standards, training, and quality objectives, collaborates with senior engineers to maintain procedures, evaluates risks, and partners with other teams to improve processes.
