Pull samples as per Standard Operating Procedure for chemical analysis to guarantee product integrity.
Rehandle off-spec product. Mix, heat, filter, and pull samples to ensure product conformity.
Assist customers and/or producers with any problems that may arise.
Track mobile movement & spot railcars and tanker trailers.
Assist with terminal maintenance duties as needed, maintaining equipment in operating condition.
Monitor products transferred to and from tanks, vessels, or pipelines at terminal site.
Assist with terminal / distribution operations by performing loading and unloading hazardous chemicals (nitric Acid, Anhydrous Ammonia, etc.) via truck and tanker/hopper rail car.
Load trucks, railcars and unload raw materials from outside suppliers and intra-plant Units.
Assist operations with tank alignment with transfers of hazardous chemicals for proper valve alignment, sampling techniques, safety exposures, environmental consideration, and follow Standard operating procedures.
Input information into electronic hand-held device which documents Standard Operating Procedure, load out activities, and tank production/spec information.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time.
Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
