The ability to communicate openly and build relationships with peers and clients
Permanent and temporary structural design for tunnels, caverns and underground spaces
Chartered status (e.g. CPEng, RPEQ, VPEQ) is highly desirable and if not, conscientiously working towards achieving it.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tunnelling projects
Tunnel condition assessment and remediation design
Relevant tertiary qualification. Postgraduate qualifications will be favourably considered.
Sound communication skills for interfacing with associated teams including geotechnics, dams, structures and associated markets covering transport, water, hydropower and energy.
Well established written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
The ability to work semi-independently, delivering projects utilising appropriate team members, knowing when to seek guidance from peers
Experience in the assessment of geotechnical data and geo-structural design for the design of temporary and permanent ground support of shafts and tunnels.
