Civil Design Drafter

• Produce high-quality civil documentation and drawings in collaboration with engineers and designers.
• Support project delivery across planning, design, and construction phases.
• Prepare conceptual and detailed designs for tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, haul roads, general earthworks, and surface water management structures.
• Ensure documentation aligns with industry standards and project specifications.
• Identify and implement cost-effective, innovative design solutions.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Design Drafter to join our growing team in Brisbane. You will be part of a collaborative group of professionals across civil, geotechnical, water, and geology disciplines, contributing to the design and documentation of key infrastructure projects.

Our projects include tailings and waste storage facilities, water management structures, water dams, and mine infrastructure projects. We are engaged in the entire project cycle from green field studies, feasibility, site investigation, design, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance, and closure. This allows our professionals to challenge themselves while gaining valuable engineering and project management experience on fascinating projects.

This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of hands-on experience in civil drafting and design, particularly using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or 12d software.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or 12d.
• Strong understanding of civil infrastructure and earthworks design.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil design drafting.
