The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, designs solutions for complex problems, manages projects, and mentors both service and contract technicians.
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors and solenoids.
- Create, assign and close work orders, recording labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
- Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
- Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills.
- Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.

- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess 4+ years experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and reading blueprints/schematics.
- Have 3+ years experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Have 2+ years experience programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Demonstrated team‑lead experience, including training and mentoring less experienced technicians.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project for document creation and management.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts.
- Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical field.
- Preferred: Experience operating and maintaining robots.
- Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lift and lift up to 50 lb.
- Ability to wear required PPE such as hard hat, face mask, face shield and composite‑toe shoes.
- Must be able to crouch, bend and move between departments, covering 6‑12 miles daily in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
