Structural Bridge Engineer / Civil Engineer with EIT or PE license, responsible for performing structural engineering assignments, providing leadership and mentorship, and assisting with preparation of structural engineering projects for railroad and highway bridges.
Assist with the preparation of structural engineering projects including analysis and design of railroad and highway bridges, reinforced concrete design, structural steel design, prestressed concrete design, deep and shallow foundation analysis and design, development of plans, specifications, and estimates, retaining walls, and other structural elements
Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to structural design teams
Perform structural engineering assignments under the direction of a licensed engineer with clear and specific objectives

State DOT experience is a plus
Experience with STAAD or alternate structural engineering modeling software, MDX, CSi Bridge, Bridge Link and Bentley Engineering products is a plus
Application of basic techniques, theories, precepts and practices in small and large structural engineering projects
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
Willingness and ability to do light to moderate travel in efforts to collect field data offsite
Current and valid registered EIT or PE in Texas (or ability to transfer to Texas)
Experience with Production/Task Management to include quality control, documentation management, and consistency in meeting deadlines
Willingness and ability to work in various weather conditions as required
