Use and maintain project systems for all purchasing activities.
Management of the formation process for procurement packages assigned to you, including pre-qualification, tendering, clarification, evaluation, negotiations, and developing recommendations for award.
Develop purchasing strategies and plans to achieve overall best value supply of materials, equipment and services in co-ordination with the Engineering team.
Chair package meetings with suppliers, functional team members, and clients to support project delivery.
Work closely with project functional team members, including Engineering, Project Controls, Construction, Contracts, Expediting, and Project Management.
Support progress updates in the procurement cycle for your assigned packages to drive delivery in support of the project schedule.
Administration of awarded purchase contracts, including management of changes, invoicing, and closeout.

Mining project experience an asset.
Experience with EPC/ EPCM Procurement and associated systems for purchasing and package administration.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional negotiating and networking skills would be a definite asset.
A proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously or a single project of major size and scale.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5 to 7 years of Procurement experience, preferably in consulting engineering or within a project environment.
Degree or diploma level qualification in relevant field is desirable and/or equivalent work experience.
The ability to meet the challenge of tight deadlines and providing exceptional services to our clients is a must.
