• Prepare financial/administrative reports for customers
• Conduct variance, risk, and profit/loss analyses
• Maintain funding availability and submit additional funding requests
• Develop and maintain cost control for large projects
• Track employee and subcontractor hours and costs
• Review project setup for new contract MODs to ensure accuracy
• Assist project managers with budget and financial data
• Analyze and forecast status against baseline cost
• Review expenses for accuracy and proper project alignment
• Reconcile actual versus budget costs and perform variance analysis
• Submit monthly accruals for assigned projects
• Review monthly revenue, gross profit, and identify variances
• Manage unbilled data, accounts receivable/payable, and DSO
• Assist in reviewing government invoices for accuracy
• Prepare and track weekly and monthly status reports
• Help project managers close out outstanding obligations
• Prepare, review, and monitor estimate at completion (EAC)
• Assist with customer reporting (CFSRs, Business Management Reviews)

Requirements

We are seeking a Project Financial Analyst who will support program control for a large collection of projects, handling all financial aspects—including cost, funding, labor charging, forecasting, and internal reporting. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain a polygraph) and will serve as the finance point of contact for project teams.

• Accredited 4‑year degree (or equivalent) with 4 years experience, or 8 years experience if non‑degreed
• Effective communication with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job‑related technical knowledge required
• Ability to learn and apply local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Attention to detail and time‑effective work habits
• Must possess TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a government‑issued polygraph
• Experience managing project financials for US Government programs
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting)
• Prior financial reporting and analysis experience
• Ability to deliver timely and accurate information
• US citizenship required
• Experience with automated cost or schedule management systems
• Leadership experience on various projects preferred
• May require international travel for project assignments

The market rate for this position is typically at the mid‑point of the salary range, currently $74,000 – $138,000, with final compensation based on qualifications, experience, location, and internal equity.
