The Senior Modeller will join the M&E engineering team, overseeing a group of modellers and engineers to produce electrical and mechanical designs for allocated projects under the direction of the Lead M&E Engineer or CAD Manager. Responsibilities include managing workload, maintaining high‑level CAD/Modelling expertise in the Bentley suite, and ensuring client commitments are met. The role requires planning and prioritising tasks, monitoring project performance against cost and schedule, and taking corrective action when standards are not met. Coaching, mentoring and safety compliance are also integral parts of the position.
The ideal candidate possesses expert knowledge of Bentley’s CAD/Modelling tools, strong guidance capabilities, and familiarity with digital engineering platforms, data‑management systems and CDM safety regulations. Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering design, working with contractors in a design‑and‑build rail environment, and a solid command of English are essential. Desirable attributes include proficiency with other BIM products, ProjectWise, and the ability to travel between offices.
