- Maintain and update process documentation, checklists, and control matrices. Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Prepare and review monthly fixed asset schedules, including roll-forwards and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of fixed asset-related journal entries (depreciation, impairments, disposals).
- Participate in periodic self-assessments and control reviews to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers in ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday).
- Support execution and documentation of SOX controls related to fixed assets, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation and ensure evidence is available for SOX and other compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in fixed asset and compliance processes.
- Support capitalization, depreciation, transfer, and disposal of assets in line with company policy and US GAAP.
- Respond to audit queries related to fixed assets, reconciliations, and compliance controls.
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to build process maturity. Skills & Competencies
- Assist in remediation of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support automation and standardization of fixed asset processes, including leveraging BlackLine for reconciliations and documentation.
- Participate in walkthroughs and control testing as required by auditors. Compliance & SOX Controls
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards (US GAAP).
- Collaborate with IT and operations for system upgrades or new asset module implementations. Audit Support (Internal & External)

- Education: CA (Inter/Final), ICWA, BBA+MBA (Finance), or CMA Design and implement process and solutions to record and process all aspects of fixed assets accounting. Includes chart of accounts alignment, back office integration, folio management, payment processing, transfer & retirement of assets, physical inventory and Construction In Process (CIP) project accounting. What are we looking for?
