Logistic Specialist

Description

• Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules.
• Investigate and report any found discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory control system to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Monitor, track, and trace import & export shipments and returned items. Investigate, and report discrepancies.
• Perform or assist with any departmental operations, as required, or directed to maintain workflow and meet departmental requirements
• Select shipping methods and appropriate carriers to ensure compliance with customer requirements and meet cost control objectives.
• Perform daily logistic functions to include receive, control, monitor, sort, label, store, pick, move, pack, ship, and issue material.
• Load and unload trucks as required ensuring shipments are routed correctly, examine cartons for obvious damage, report unusual conditions, and ensure all accepted shipments are signed for.

Requirements

• Demonstrated relevant working experience in a logistics environment.
• Strong Computer skills, including CRM and ERP Software, and proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to lift 65 lbs. (29.5 Kg) at a time unassisted.
