Senior Estimator

Description

This isn't a "slot in and stay in your lane" type of position. You'll work directly with the partners of the business, mentor a Junior Estimator, and play a key role in shaping the company's future. As the business continues to expand, you'll have the genuine opportunity to lead the entire estimating division.

• Review drawings, specs, and scopes to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage subcontractor pricing, bid reviews, and value engineering
• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and proposals
• Lead full-cycle estimating for commercial projects from concept through GMP
• Mentor and support Junior Estimators as they develop
• Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams for a smooth project handover

Requirements

Senior Estimator

• Strong knowledge of preconstruction, cost management, and bid strategy
• Procore experience strongly preferred
• Forward-thinking mindset with a desire to help shape and grow the company's preconstruction function
• 5+ years of experience estimating commercial ground-up construction projects
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with owners, design teams, and trade partners
• Proven leadership qualities — confident guiding others, making decisions, and being the go-to person in the department
