We are seeking a Field Supervisor to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role you will oversee the daily operation, ensure all tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner and meet organizational quality standards.
The role involves overseeing daily installation and fulfillment operations in the assigned market, verifying technician readiness, distributing and redistributing work, and onboarding new contractor crews. You will monitor progress using workforce management tools, perform in‑person quality checks and coaching, respond to client calls and escalations, support technicians on‑site, mentor and develop them, and participate in daily KPI/verification calls with client and internal leadership.
Additional responsibilities include communicating with client leadership, internal workforce teams, and field technicians throughout the day to align workload, reroutes, escalations, and needs; validating jobs marked “not done” by contacting customers; supporting warehouse teams with equipment tracking; being present for CPE deliveries, stocking, scanning, and assigning equipment; reviewing completed work monthly and providing feedback; ensuring resources are secured and maintained; traveling to project sites up to 50% of the time with occasional overnight stays; and ensuring contracted crews adhere to safety standards and all applicable laws.
The successful candidate must have at least three years of cable/broadband telecommunications installation or construction experience, with leadership experience considered a plus. You must be able to travel daily around the region, handle a variety of schedules, and serve as a point of escalation. Strong customer service, time management, problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and relationship‑building skills are required, as well as the ability to give feedback, mentor team members, and work in indoor, outdoor, tight‑space, and elevated environments.
Physical requirements include the ability to bend, reach, twist, climb, and stand for up to 70% of the time, safely navigate various terrains while managing equipment and tools, and a body weight not exceeding 275 lb for ladder work (accommodations may be considered). A valid government‑issued photo ID and driver’s license are required, and you must pass all pre‑employment checks (MVR, background, drug screen).
