Perform design basis and characterization of firefighting protection systems, including hydraulic calculations for fire water networks and spray systems.
Liaise with drafting teams for drawing development.
Layout drawings for safety equipment, escape routes, and safety signs
Coordinate safety workshops and review third-party safety studies.
Monitor scope of work, raise change notifications, and liaise with PMT and other discipline engineers.
Prepare specifications for firefighting, safety, and lifesaving equipment; review vendor documentation.
Execute design activities and prepare documents for project safety and reliability.
Review and check interdisciplinary technical documentation.

Passive fire protection specifications, schedules & layouts
Strong knowledge of fire protection, hazardous area classification, passive fire protection, and fire & gas detection systems.
Background: 10–15 years of experience in oil & gas projects, preferably with offshore wellhead/process platform exposure.
Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
Fire & gas design philosophy and detection system layouts
Loss prevention philosophy / safety concept
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Safety, or related field).
Familiarity with Qatar Energy, ADNOC, Shell, Aramco standards and international regulations.
Expertise in preparation of fire water network P&IDs.
