In this role you will lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver person‑centred services measured by KPIs, surveys and performance outcomes. You will act as Safeguarding Lead, oversee health and safety checks, risk assessments and service records, manage contracts, budgets and KPIs, and maintain strong stakeholder and commissioner relationships. You will also balance operational delivery with flexible diary management, provide paid on‑call cover and use technology confidently for planning, training, record‑keeping and team collaboration.
The ideal candidate has strong people skills to motivate and support staff, a deep understanding of customer circumstances and a passion for advocacy. Experience in managing supported or care environments is required, with housing management experience desirable, and proven people‑management experience across multiple services or managers.
Practical requirements include a vehicle insured for business use (mileage reimbursed) and completion of an enhanced DBS check, which Home Group will fund.
The Senior Services Manager role offers a salary of £28,174 to £30,804 per annum plus an on‑call payment of £14.30 per session, on a permanent full‑time contract (37.5 hours per week) based in West Yorkshire covering Ravensthorpe, Mirfield and Batley. Home Group cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship for this position.
