Working for one NUVIA’s busiest business units, PE&D (Projects, Engineering & Decommissioning), you will be contributing to NUVIA’s ambitious growth plans across our Defence suite. The Recruitment Consultant will be fully dedicated to internal and external stakeholders’ needs and duties. Working alongside both the wider recruitment team and the PE&D management team.
- Leading and arranging interviews, SQEP calls and assisting with workforce planning.
- Advertising and managing vacancies.
- Assist the wider HR team in the delivery of an excellent on-boarding experience for new starters.
- Source and build talent pipelines, proactive searches for future requirements and identifying skill gaps.
- Cover workload in absence of Recruitment Business Partner.
- Build strong relationships, working alongside internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting initial pre-registration phone calls & maintaining regular communication with candidates.
- Contribute to reports internally and externally.
- Assisting with the account management of a multi-million-pound framework, attending qualifying calls with Hiring Managers and Technical Leads.
- In partnership with trade unions
- Helping to create recruitment campaigns internally and externally.
- Support candidates through the security clearance process, both internally and externally.

- Exceptional understanding of deadlines and turnaround times in a fast paced environment.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Well organised, independent worker with a strong ability to prioritise.
- Experience recruiting for nuclear or defence would be beneficial but not essential.
- Strong IT skills, including Office 365 (Excel, MS Teams, Outlook).
- Eligible to obtain security clearance and work on UK eyes only projects.
- Ability to manage and source a high volume of roles, with fantastic candidate management skills.
- Occasional visits to other NUVIA offices or client sites.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proven background in Recruitment within a highly regulated market.
