Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll take responsibility for managing the commercial performance of multi-million-pound projects — from tender through to completion. Working within the Major Projects team, you’ll ensure that projects meet financial, contractual, and operational objectives while maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and Tier 1 clients.
- Manage the full commercial lifecycle of projects, including costing, billing, and reporting.
- Lead pricing, negotiation, and value management strategies to maximise profitability.
- Develop long-term relationships with Tier 1 contractors and key project partners.
- Ensure all commercial activities meet company policies, legal obligations, and best practice standards.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to commercial strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities to support growth.

You’re an experienced Commercial Manager or Senior QS who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of delivering excellence on large, complex projects. You’ll have a strong understanding of Tier 1 contracting environments and be comfortable operating at a senior level within the supply chain.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong financial and contractual management skills.
- Qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Proven experience managing projects within the construction or specialist subcontracting sectors.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth.
