This position works on road and bridge projects for transportation owners, including the Texas Department of Transportation, as part of a project‑specific team within a growing Texas Transportation‑Construction Management organization of over 100 construction professionals.

4-year exp

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum of 4 years of experience with major road or bridge construction
Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
Good verbal and written communication skills
Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, twist, or stoop frequently and for prolonged periods
Ability to reach horizontally and vertically for required tasks
Ability to use construction or inspection safety equipment including fall protection
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
1-3 years hands‑on experience with CADD software, preferably MicroStation, and highway design/work zone traffic control plans
Experience with Design‑Bid‑Build, Design‑Build, CMGC, and other alternative contract delivery methods
OSHA 10‑hour certification
