Prepare monthly journal entries for interest rate and commodity derivatives, share-based compensation, asset retirement obligations (ARO), depreciation, and foreign currency adjustments
Prepare and consolidate quarterly, annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS
Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to support management commentary and decision-making
Support cross-functional collaboration to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
Research and interpret IFRS standards; assess impacts of new accounting and regulatory requirements
Prepare and manage audit working papers and liaise with external auditors, tax specialists, and internal stakeholders
Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
Drive process improvements and maintain strong internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment
CPA designation required (preference for prior auditing experience)
Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting principles
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
