Support the preparation and development of construction methodologies, programs, and submission documentation
Develop estimates from first principles using site productivity rates
Deliver detailed tenders with traceability and provide support for pre-contracts and delivery
Compile accurate material quantity take-offs to develop bills of quantities
Identify the need for additional information or clarification through RFIs to ensure complete tender documents
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive relationships
Review and validate subcontractor pricing across all service disciplines
Prepare and develop accurate cost estimates, including cost escalation analysis
Prepare, present and deliver Defence tenders to $200mil
Coordinate team activities and conduct tender cost estimate review meetings
Review designs and engineering specifications for cost effectiveness
Request additional information via RFIs to complete tender documents
Requirements

Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar equivalent
First principal experience with hydraulic/mechanical piping and equipment
Prior experience in Defence sector, construction, process and non-process infrastructure, and water/wastewater treatment (good to have, not essential)
Experience in engineering and resource industries
First Aid and Mental First Aid Support Officers
Interpersonal skills, confident, professional and self-motivated
Financial and commercial acumen
Would suit someone with Fuel/water/Piping experience
