Design mid/lower level complex electrical, controls, and communication equipment and systems to provide automation for water/wastewater industry projects
Provide technical direction, serve as a point of contact or business liaison, prepare briefings for senior management and assist in problem resolution specific to the program/project
Lead and mentor designer teams to convert engineering concepts into working schematics.
Contribute towards establishing Engineering schedule, including the on-time release of equipment specifications, bills of materials, and customer documentation
Develop detailed engineering documentation including single-line and three-line diagrams, panel elevations, general arrangements, and wiring schematics
Review Tesco’s design tools, procedures, and processes and ensure engineering deliverables are compliant to design standards
Attend formal training programs, and review journals and other publications related to the field to help develop new skills or improve existing skills.
Provide engineering expertise during estimation, sales, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, and operations
Interpret and assist customer specifications and plans and translate them into a defined engineering scope and deliverables
Support the Project Manager to address technical concerns with internal and external stakeholders
Complete/support all phases of the engineering process to insure accurate and timely completion of customer approvals and manufacturing drawings

Experience in a regulated industry is preferred
Understanding of manufacturing workflow, including planning activities
Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and manage workloads to meet assigned deadlines
Knowledge of electrical engineering design principles and methodologies
At least 4-8 years of experience in the design and analysis of automation systems
knowledge of AutoCAD/ AutoCAD Electrical
Ability to read and understand schematics
Ability to understand and design, all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
Working and current knowledge of codes and industry standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Minimum of 5-15 years of experience in electrical and controls design
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
