The Operations Supervisor – Water Transfer Operations role is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position within the Water Transfer department, based in Odessa, TX. Reporting to Keystone leadership, the supervisor oversees water transfer activities for a designated operator or account, managing a team that includes Field Supervisors, Senior Water Transfer Technicians, and Technicians. The role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget while serving as the primary client contact.
Key duties involve managing daily field operations, coordinating with engineering on technical specifications and cost analysis, and supervising personnel through safety policy enforcement and equipment training. The supervisor also handles planning, budgeting, scheduling, review and signing of field documentation, and monitors performance of pumps, valves, and fusion machines. Continuous improvement initiatives, technology adoption, and cost‑reduction efforts are also expected.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED, two years of water‑transfer experience, and a Certified Fusion Technician credential. Prior team or project management experience, mechanical knowledge of pumps and flow control, strong communication skills, and proficiency with mobile reporting tools are required. A valid driver’s license and the ability to manage costs, schedules, and customer expectations are essential; technical coursework is a plus.
