Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
Develop relationships with the general contractors, owners and other design team members including our vendors and subcontractors.
Follow awarded contracts as assigned – may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring material, etc.
Interface with owner, and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility.
Assist the operations team with turnover meetings and internal budgeting.
Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimates and figures.
Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.

Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel, Accubid Estimating Software, and Bluebeam Revu.
Experience in construction management with a commercial and/or industrial focus.
This position is required to drive.
Two years’ experience in estimating, cost control and/or engineering experience in construction management.
A working knowledge of operations and estimating practices at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience; and
Leadership experience in a field environment.
Knowledge of estimating, cost control and system design, plus the ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems.
Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule.
Excellent communication, organizational skills are essential.
