Description

The role is essential for maintaining an optimal span of control, providing support, training, and development to team members across multiple manufacturing areas. It is a full‑time exempt position focused on leading, coaching, and continuously improving team performance.

• Lead the production team in a manufacturing environment.
• Assemble and sub‑assemble backhoe loader components using hand and power tools.
• Operate overhead cranes, manipulators, and other assembly equipment.
• Support and develop team members through coaching and feedback.
• Continuously measure and improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Conduct daily safety and team meetings.
• Provide coverage for absenteeism as needed.
• Deliver training and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications: high school diploma, 2 years assembly experience, 1 year supervisory role, forklift certification, pass drug screen and background check.
• Preferred qualifications: associate’s degree in manufacturing, 3 years assembly experience, 4 years supervisory experience.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑directed, able to multitask with urgency.
• Operate forklift, pneumatic tools, and other heavy equipment; willingness to learn.
• Physical requirements: lift/move 10 lb regularly, 35 lb frequently, 50 lb occasionally; perform repetitive motions, reach, grasp, pinch, and turn wrist; bend, stoop, climb, kneel, stand for extended periods; work in hot/cold temperatures and dusty environments.
