Liaising with supervisors and managers to ensure effective stock and equipment utilisation.
Operating material handling equipment (such as telehandlers) to move and organise materials within the yard.
Organising waste removal and managing associated paperwork (staff timesheets, waste transfer notes, material requisitions).
Establishing and maintaining robust stock control procedures, including daily ordering and stock checks.
Supporting the Depot Manager in staff scheduling and acting as deputy in their absence.
Maintaining agreed standards throughout the depot, ensuring bays are tidy and well-managed.
Managing depot security and acting as a key point of contact for material deliveries.

Numerate, literate, and PC literate (MS Word, Excel).
Able to work independently, prioritise workload, and show initiative.
Motivated and focused on maintaining excellent standards and controls.
Holds a full driving licence.
Trained in the use of material handling equipment (forklift/telehandler) and knowledgeable about materials and equipment used in public realm contracts.
Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to handle challenging situations.
Experienced in public realm or similar operational environments.
A strong team player who enjoys a multi-tasking role and brings out the best in others.
