We are seeking an experienced OSP Engineer to support copper and fiber outside‑plant projects. The role involves estimating, analyzing, designing, and planning OSP initiatives while tracking budgets and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. The engineer will also coordinate with municipal agencies, contractors, and utilities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
The position requires a blend of field and design expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance technical work with permitting, reporting, and cross‑team collaboration. Responsibilities include meeting with officials, locating Frontier facilities, managing work orders, updating design systems, coordinating make‑ready work, preparing permits, partnering with contractors, handling plant‑damage repairs, conducting site surveys, and supporting technicians.
Candidates should have 3–5+ years of copper and fiber‑optic telecom engineering experience, including broadband design and OSP construction, and at least 5 years in network engineering or a related field. Proficiency with FROGS, CAD, Frontier mapping, and permitting systems is required, along with strong project management, communication, and collaboration abilities. Ability to travel for meetings, inspections, and surveys is essential, and residents must live within one hour of the listed Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia cities.
Pearce offers a base pay range of $37–$38 USD per hour, with performance bonuses, referral incentives, tool and fuel stipends, and a company vehicle.
