What you would be doing

- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, field notes, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality
- Develop construction cost estimates
- Perform storm drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control design, and computations
- Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction including engineering drawings, exhibits, and reports
- Perform watershed studies, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and design/inspection of traditional and innovative green stormwater infrastructure and SWM BMPs in both urban and rural environments

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from ABET accredited engineering program
- Experience in industry standard CAD software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in discipline specific design software, including Hydraulic Toolbox, HY-8, TR-55, and/or HEC-RAS
- 0-2 years of related intern, co-op, or full-time work experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Experience working in a professional water resources engineering environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office
