The Application Configuration Lead at Guidehouse drives configuration and personalization of court case management platforms, serving as the primary liaison between court stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to align platform capabilities with evolving judicial and operational needs.
Key responsibilities include translating complex court processes into actionable configuration solutions, overseeing the end‑to‑end configuration lifecycle—requirements traceability, change management, releases, and continuous improvement—maintaining documentation, managing platform upgrades, and ensuring compliance with CJIS, HIPAA, Section 508 and other accessibility standards.
- Configure and personalize court CMS platforms (e.g., Equivant JWorks, Tyler Odyssey).
- Translate court processes into actionable configuration solutions.
- Manage the full configuration lifecycle: traceability, change management, releases.
- Create and maintain configuration documentation, change logs, and audit trails.
- Oversee platform upgrades and feature integrations with minimal disruption.
- Ensure compliance with CJIS, HIPAA, Section 508, VPAT and other regulations.
- Present configuration updates, metrics, and progress to stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and user acceptance testing sessions.
- Mentor junior staff and embed agile/Lean practices across configuration activities.
- Maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) for audit support.
- Engage with vendors and external partners on best practices and roadmap alignment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, at least five years of experience in application configuration, platform personalization, and agile leadership, expertise in requirements traceability, familiarity with low‑code and cloud‑native platforms, and strong analytical, problem‑solving, facilitation and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include hands‑on experience configuring case management systems such as Equivant JWorks, Tyler Odyssey, ServiceNow, Dynamics 365, Appian or Salesforce, a consulting or client‑facing background, experience with statewide or multi‑jurisdictional court CMS implementations, and knowledge of judicial processes and compliance requirements.
