

Manage MEP-related RFIs, submittal logs, change orders, and inspections in Procore.
Enforce jobsite safety protocols and compliance with NYC DOB regulations.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure compliance with project design and specifications.
Monitor field progress through daily reports, photos, and MEPS plan updates.
Coordinate daily with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and low-voltage subcontractors to drive progress and resolve field conflicts.
Ensure proper installation sequencing with structure and finishes, integrating MEP systems seamlessly into the project.
Oversee testing, inspections, and commissioning of all MEP systems to ensure turnover readiness.
Lead MEP-focused subcontractor meetings, track manpower, and monitor labor productivity to maintain schedules.
Oversee all MEP construction activities from pre-installation through commissioning on ground-up multifamily projects.

Strong organizational and communication skills with proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors in the field.
We are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection trades on large-scale ground-up multifamily projects in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in MEP systems, proven field supervision experience, and the ability to drive subcontractor performance while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence. This role is critical in coordinating complex MEP installations, resolving on-site challenges, and delivering projects to the highest standard.
In-depth knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB processes, and MEP trades.
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project) and construction documentation.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a focus on MEP systems for ground-up projects (multifamily strongly preferred).
