The Queensland Design Director role will oversee large-scale design, cost planning and consultant team management for major projects, ensuring design quality, user engagement, compliance and financial targets are met. The position reports to senior project leadership and leads both direct reports and a broader consulting team.
The ideal candidate has at least ten years of experience with a main contractor, leading design, stakeholder engagement and budget development. Proven change-management experience on major design-and-construction projects, multi-discipline design leadership and experience on projects valued at AU$500 million or more are required.
