As a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer intern, you will drive cost, delivery, and quality metrics by applying problem‑solving, advanced quality planning, and design‑for‑manufacturing techniques. You will collaborate with procurement to make strategic supply‑base decisions and participate in the Gate Management Process from supplier audits through production approval and launch.
Your daily activities will include leading supplier quality system audits, supporting source selection and PPAP coordination, and ensuring supplier documentation such as PFMEA and control plans is complete for smooth product launches. You will conduct on‑site visits, lead lean projects, develop quality control plans, analyze quality data, and maintain detailed records of supplier performance and corrective actions.
We seek candidates currently enrolled in a bachelor's engineering program with knowledge of APQP, flow charting, control plans, PFMEA, SPC, and measurement system analysis, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, a major in a relevant engineering discipline, and an anticipated graduation date of May 2027.
Our Internship Program offers a paid 3‑4 month experience (May 18 – August 14 2026) where interns work on real projects, receive mentorship from senior leaders, and explore multiple departments. Interns are immersed in meaningful work from day one, building skills and contributing to impactful solutions for both the business and the planet.
