Property Manager-Agrihood Senior Apartments

Description

The Property Manager is responsible for overall operation of the property and day‑to‑day implementation of policies, procedures and programs that ensure a well‑managed, well‑maintained building. The role ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state and local laws, and includes an on‑site two‑bedroom apartment.

• Enforce property rules, lease terms, and report violations.
• Maintain accurate resident files during move‑in and recertifications per regulations.
• Recruit, hire, terminate, train, and evaluate staff.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, TCAC, Home Program, RHCP, CAL HFA, AHP, and related programs.
• Process certifications, collect deposits and rent according to program policies.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests or complaints.
• Complete work orders and turnover vacant units efficiently.

Requirements

• Basic math skills and proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Minimum 2 years management, training, and evaluation experience with Tax Credit properties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Boston Post software a plus.
