Construction Manager Traveling

Description

• This position will start as an auditor - Review lighting specifications and determine if they are practical and consistent with the layout and application of the facility, identify discrepancies and communicate that to the team.
• Responsible for making sure schedules are kept, safety procedures are adhered to and the work is being completed with the time constraints allotted.
• Then it will transition to a CM with overseeing a Construction Project (making sure sub are there, supplies made it and taking pictures to document the work was and is being done)
• Overseeing the installation and team of installers that are doing the actual installation work.
• Ensure adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Drivers License for Boarding Planes and Car Rental.
• Must be able to rent a car
• Experience Overseeing subcontractors and working with clients
• Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
• Lighting and/or electrical experience a plus
• The Field Auditor will be traveling weekly to different locations and cities.
• Process-oriented with excellent time and project management skills
• At least one or more years' experience in related field or Electrical experience
• Understanding of Electrical layout and schematics
• Must be computer literate
