The Busser/Runner plays a key role in the Food and Beverage Service Department, handling food and beverage delivery, table clearing, and station maintenance while maintaining high standards of safety and service.
- Deliver food and beverage items to guests, ensuring correct seat placement.
- Clear plates, glassware, and silverware promptly; refill water glasses as needed.
- Restock and maintain the runner station clean and organized each meal period.
- Assist kitchen staff with plating accuracy, condiments, and sauce delivery.
- Provide brief explanations of menu items and respond to guest inquiries.
- Adhere to food safety, cleanliness, and security policies, including ServSafe standards.
- Attend briefings, meetings, and trainings as required.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and handle physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lb.
