Stock and organize product inventory for smooth warehouse operations
Assist in annual warehouse inventory
Satisfies customer demands of internal customers to include the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to or from the supported shop. Delvers high priority materials ahead of routine materials previously requested
May be required to purchase warehouse supplies to maintain building
Work with local, regional freights companies (setup times, hot shots, etc)
Maintain, stock and arrange office and warehouse supply inventory required for effective operation
Practices safe material handling techniques
Perform housekeeping as assigned
Safely operates assigned material handling equipment ensuring all equipment in use has been inspected and in safe condition. Report all accidents/unsafe conditions to supervisor
Determines accurate material quantities by cycle counting
Locate parts ensuring pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, material, racking, and equipment are not damages and material is not left in aisles
Completes trainings as required including safety training, certification and testing
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and freight accurately
Be the reliable primary contact for warehouse movement and for customer and local transportation provider interactions
Load and unload freight using material handling equipment, power industrial vehicles such as a forklift; maintain work equipment, inbound/outbound shipments, loads and picks material into/out of warehouse racks, between locations, Log inbound freight (UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DHL)
