Write technical reports and assist in proposal preparations;

Visit project sites and perform construction reviews;
Analysis and design of Steel, and Concrete Structures in heavy industrial and mining projects;
Support project management, ensuring the projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Interact with clients, design partners, and contractors;
Structural Design and preparation of construction drawings and structural calculations;
Analysis and design of foundation systems;
Requirements

5-8 years
Between 5 to 8 years of structural design experience in consulting engineering firms;
Possess a valid Full-G driver’s license;
Must be able to go to project site as needed.
Knowledge of CSA design standards, and National/ Provincial Building Codes;
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment and adapt to changing project requirements;
B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering;
Previous experience with industrial projects desired (mining, processing plants, etc.);
Great communication and interpersonal skills;
Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) in Newfoundland;
Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software such as STAAD-PRO, S-Frame, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.;
Familiar with AutoCAD and ideally Revit Structure;
