What you would be doing

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, taking ownership of design deliverables and supporting project execution from concept to commissioning.
- Design and develop complete electrical services packages (LV & MV) in AutoCAD and Revit, under the guidance of the Principal Electrical Engineer.
- Support tender evaluations and peer reviews as part of the internal quality-control process.
- Conduct site visits to survey, monitor, and review electrical installations as required.
- Participate in constructability and safety reviews and provide input to ensure buildable, compliant, and cost-effective designs.
- Attend and contribute to client and internal design meetings to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Prepare design deliverables including specifications, cable calculations, schematics, wiring diagrams, loop sheets, and tender packs.
- Design and coordinate MCCs, distribution boards, cable systems, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, and security systems.

- Confident communicator with a professional, collaborative approach.
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical design within industrial or similar environments (data centre experience an advantage).
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and protection systems (discrimination, short-circuit and arc-flash studies).
- Strong technical understanding of MV/LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting, small power, earthing, and fire/safety systems.
- Excellent written and spoken English—essential and non-negotiable requirement.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit; familiarity with Trimble (Amtech) or SKM PTW is a strong advantage.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent).
Work pattern: Office-based Monday–Thursday, with optional work-from-home on Fridays
Salary: €60,000 – €65,000 (DOE)
