Production Operators (All Shifts)

Description

• Practice Safe work habits in accordance with OSHA, EPA guidelines, and Bostik specific EHS expectations.
• Follow written instructions and standard operating procedures to manufacture quality products.
• Perform preventive maintenance functions as required.
• Operate fork truck and material handling equipment.
• Perform in-process laboratory testing to satisfy intermediate and finished product requirements.
• Assist as needed and when available in other areas in Manufacturing.
• Responsible for incident reporting and communications.
• Conduct cycle counts, as required.
• Responsible for day-to-day completion of assigned tasks
• One will participate in activities within the Plant, within one’s department as well as cross functional.
• Follow proper procedures for the handling, storage and transfer of hazardous material.
• Operate all equipment within your respective departments.
• Work collaboratively with fellow operators to ensure a quality product is produced.
• Responsible for the safe operation of the manufacturing operation and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for accurate batch sheet administration and retain sample collection.
• Assist in updating documentation as required.
• Fill out maintenance Work Orders in the event of foreseen mechanical problems.

Requirements

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Committed to concepts of Operator driven in-plant lab testing, Autonomous & Preventive maintenance, Problem Solving on the Shop Floor, 5S, etc.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Use of computer software, both PC based and enterprise system, combined with frequent interpersonal communication.
• Adaptable to change and can lead change.
• Experienced in working within a team environmental.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
• High school diploma or higher education preferred.
• A fast paced, high-pressure environment where you are involved in a wide variety of functions and activities.

Benefits

Salary Range: $38,600 – $49,920 (based on experience)

Note: All shifts require flexibility for overtime as needed.
