Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the standards for mixing, portion control, and presentation.
Ensure that display tables and side stands are kept stocked, tidy, and clean.
Pay out service attendants’ tips, if applicable.
Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed. (bottle for bottle method)
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
Assist in maintaining beverage cost.
Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
Assist with delivering and refilling beverages, pre-bussing tables and promptly resolving any guest requests.
Stock and clean glassware and serve ware.
Prepare all garnishes.
Be attentive of guests’ needs and assist in providing a pleasant experience.
Follow prescribed procedures in serving liquor with care to avoid problems with intoxicated guests, and report to management when necessary.
Check soda tanks to ensure that they are full and secured properly to the bar.
Comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Process guests’ checks, collect cash, and process credit cards and room charges according to standards.
Follow all state liquor laws.
Keep all work areas clean, properly stocked, and presentable according to the current service period.
Perform opening and closing duties according to established side-work checklist by property standards.
Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Receive and deliver food and beverage orders and collect payment.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
Ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
Prepare cashier report at end of each shift.
Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
Keep all tables and lounge area cleaned and properly set according to specific standards.
