  • Directly lead and manage various cross-functional teams of hourly and salaried individuals in support of Kaizen and Lean Action Work-out events.
  • Execute the lean strategy for the organization focused on each value stream and subsequently drive implementation.
  • Communicates and coordinates effectively with supply chain partners to achieve goals and results. Drives execution of Lean principles and all related initiatives such as Kaizen events and other “Best in Class” quality processes by leveraging appropriate team members and functional support personnel. Drive cross training efforts to best support safety, quality, productivity, cost, and schedule commitment.
  • Implement tools and metrics to improve visibility to operational health and lean performance.
  • Execute Lean Manufacturing initiatives including set-up reduction, workplace organization, standardized work, process/workflow improvements, and visual management, and inventory reduction.
  • Participate in coordinating all actions focused on COE projects & initiatives.
  • Analyze problems, account for variances, drive for root cause and implement improved methods and procedures, create, review and update improvement plans.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement, being an innovator of positive change that impacts safety, profitability, inventory turns, on-time delivery, lead-time, and quality. Effectiveness is measured primarily through predetermined metrics.
  • Create and improve Value Stream Maps to identify opportunities for production/process enhancement to achieve organizational goal.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • Knowledge of products, processes, customer requirements and budgeting / financial processes.
  • Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
  • Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent quality certification
  • Demonstrated commitment for process improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing policies and regulations as well as government and other customers.
  • Minimum of 3 additional years in a production manufacturing role responsible for driving process improvements.
