Description

• Identify, prospect, qualify, develop, and secure national business opportunities for all CRB services.
• Present CRB’s value proposition to potential clients.
• Contribute to internal resource and pursuit team planning for client engagements.
• Share opportunity updates at weekly Food + Beverage National Go‑No‑Go meetings.
• Represent CRB at corporate and regional Food + Beverage trade shows, conferences, and sponsored events.
• Promote CRB through industry trade associations, peer groups, committees, councils, and boards.
• Serve on predetermined boards and committees to enhance brand awareness.
• Assist in creating the annual Business Development plan for the Food + Beverage region, focusing on sales, revenue, and client penetration.
• Help develop the annual Business Development expense budget for the region.

Requirements

The Director of Business Development – Food + Beverage leads CRB’s national Food + Beverage region, driving growth across architecture, engineering, control systems integration, construction, and consulting. The role requires a highly motivated, well‑connected professional with deep industry knowledge and a proven record of building lasting client relationships in the AEC sector.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management) or 12–15+ years of AEC business development experience.
• Extensive network and proven track record in Food + Beverage, Ingredients, and Consumer Products sectors.
• Strong understanding of market trends, pricing, and delivery methods (Design‑Build, Design‑Assist, Design‑Bid‑Build, EPCM, Construction Management).
• Demonstrated success in national account management and client development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to lead across a matrixed organization.
• High initiative, strong organizational, time‑management, and accountability skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with LinkedIn Navigator, Vision, and Industrial Information Resources is a plus.
