Leaders will supervise a team of three to five Design Managers, set clear objectives, and ensure access to needed skills, tools and resources to deliver innovative outcomes. They will champion professional growth, foster a collaborative culture, and maintain high quality standards, financial performance, scheduling, staffing and client satisfaction. The role also involves acting as a Pursuit Lead or proposal contributor, participating in post‑bid reviews, and stepping in as Project Director for high‑risk or high‑value projects.
The Design Management Team is hiring multiple Design Team Leaders for the Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Civil market sectors within the Design and Engineering Division. Candidates should be Arcadis employees with extensive consultancy experience and strong team‑management practices. Travel up to 20 % may be required for project work.
Qualified candidates must have over 15 years of consultancy experience on large‑scale Architectural/Engineering projects, with exposure to multiple disciplines. Experience managing small, geographically dispersed teams, advanced business‑development and project‑planning competencies, and a Arcadis Project Manager Certification (training provided if needed) are required. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Management or a related field is expected.
