The job holder is responsible monitoring, investigation, and response to IT security incidents. Oversees vulnerability management activities, coordinates with cross-functional teams to implement security controls, and ensures IT systems comply with established cybersecurity policies and standards.

Approve enterprise segmentation blueprints to strengthen network isolation.
Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Oversee SOC operational priorities to align detection workflows with evolving threat landscapes.
Validate IAM/PAM governance audits to prevent privilege escalation risks.
Review policy exception requests to manage controlled risk acceptance.
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc..).
Monitor regulatory compliance status to ensure audit readiness.
Supervise vulnerability management roadmap to reduce critical and high-risk exposure.
Integrate AI/ML-driven analytics to enhance anomaly detection capabilities.
Lead quarterly executive risk briefings to communicate key operational threats.
Approve IDS/IPS architecture updates to sustain detection coverage.
Direct advanced forensic investigations to resolve high-impact incidents.
Oversee full-scale disaster recovery testing to validate resilience capabilities.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, practices, cost ‎optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement.
Coordinate with project management to embed security in IT transformation projects.
