The full‑time Medication Technician position in our Memory Care community works the Sunday‑Wednesday shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring safety, following care plans, and providing compassionate, dignified support while adhering to all policies and regulations.
- Execute exceptional signature programs in dining, fitness, wellness, and care
- Promptly respond to resident needs while maintaining dignity and confidentiality
- Follow care plans to ensure proper resident care
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, bowel/bladder)
- Help residents at mealtime: select, serve, clear, deliver trays
- Transport residents safely, assisting with transfers and escorts
- Perform regular safety checks on residents
- Encourage resident participation in daily activities
- Lead residents in meaningful, enriching activities
- Clean, complete laundry, and assist with community tasks
- Manage oxygen tanks and concentrators per physician orders
- Chart and document information, report condition changes to supervisor
- Respond to resident alerts via walkie‑talkie and handle emergencies
- Ensure resident safety during fire or safety drills
- Encourage teamwork through open communication
- Interact courteously with residents, families, and guests
- Follow MBK policies on meal breaks and rest periods
- Meet all state regulatory requirements

- Display positive, professional image aligned with MBK core values
- Demonstrate effective time management to complete resident assignments
- Age 18+ with proper work permit and authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Nursing aide certification preferred
- Current first aid certification
- Required background clearances
- Completed health screening with negative TB test (within 6 months)
- Prior caregiving experience preferred; on‑the‑job training available
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse ages and backgrounds
- Must be mobile, able to kneel, squat, reach overhead, and bend
- Must lift 40+ pounds and push 150 pounds unassisted
