SYSTEMS: Maintains and initiates improvements in SAP PM system - Code Notifications, Complete Work Orders, track KPI’s. Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment when planning critical work orders.
Works with Supervisors and Stores department in doing this.
Obtains quotes, enters PRs and performs follow-up for material and equipment required for maintenance.
Prepares Capital Project Funding Requests including technical and financial justifications.
Responsible for facility maintenance services, including roofs, boilers, concrete paving, etc.
Serves as an internal auditor for ISO & safety audits, as required.
Confers with department Supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. Identifies operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
PLANNER: Creates shutdown schedules; lead shutdown meeting and review work done, costs, rentals and next day plans; establishes work sequences and lead time to complete major inspections and repairs based on resource availability.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Mechanical Maintenance field of study, understand the planning process.
Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to employee groups, management at all levels of the company.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
CMMS systems and accounting techniques and good mechanical aptitude.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong working knowledge of SAP maintenance software, Sigga, SAP, MS Office, and MS Project.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
