

JLL provides professional services in real estate and investment management worldwide.
In the Project and Development Services team in Chennai, you will work closely with the project manager or senior project manager and play a pivotal role in driving project success. You will take ownership of small projects, support larger initiatives, and lead the organisational structure for each project, ensuring clear objectives, streamlined reporting and communication. Attendance at project meetings and creation of project‑related reports, analyses and reviews are required, as is forecasting expenditure and managing project budgets.
Building strong client relationships is central to the role. You will identify client needs, requirements and constraints, balance them with JLL’s business objectives, and seek opportunities to introduce clients to other JLL business lines. You will also manage project revenue and payment cycles to avoid bad debt.
You will manage professional consultants for design and documentation, administer vendor contracts in line with legal requirements, and identify and mitigate project risks. Health, safety and sustainability remain top of mind, and you will drive the use of JLL technology platforms to deliver projects efficiently.
To succeed, you should hold a degree in a property‑related discipline and have at least three years of experience in design, construction or project management. You must be tech‑savvy, digitally enabled and comfortable promoting open, constructive relationships with superiors, peers and clients.
